Attendees: We welcome junior and senior high school and college students and their chaperones or other persons traveling with students.
Table: We provide one table of 10 per school per meeting.
Chaperones: A faculty member or other person(s) will need to be with high school students at all times.
Attire: School uniforms or business-like attire is required. Jackets for the male students are preferred, although not required. No baseball hats, short skirts, jeans, or tennis shoes are allowed.
Tickets: Our generous corporate sponsors and members underwrite the $45 per person fee to allow students and their chaperones to attend meetings free of charge.
Time Commitment: Students need to arrive at 10:45 a.m. and should remain seated at the luncheon until the program concludes at 1:30 p.m.
Transportation: Schools are responsible for transporting students to and from meetings. The DEC is not responsible or liable in any way, for any personal injury or property damage caused during the transportation to and from meetings. Each school is responsible for its own parking fees.
Facilities: DEC meetings are held in the tri-county area. Meeting locations and maps are listed on our website, www.econclub.org. The DEC is not responsible or liable in any way for any personal injury or property damage or loss that occurs at the meeting facility.
Photo Opportunity: The DEC will take a photo of the school group and the guest speaker at the end of the Student Reception. The photos are available on our website within 24 - 48 hours. You may download photos of your school for your use.
