$200 STIPEND
All Michigan educators who complete the Personal Finance Summer Conference will receive a $200 check. In order to ensure all who register attend the conference, we will be collecting a $20 deposit to hold your spot. This deposit will be refunded in full when you attend the conference. You must cancel at least 7 days prior to the event in order to receive a refund of your deposit.
LOCATION: Kent ISD
WHEN: June 18, 10am-4pm & June 19, 9am-4pm
EVENING EVENT: West Michigan Whitecaps game on June 18 from 5:20pm-9:00pm. This event will include game tickets as well as a pre-game dinner and drinks on a patio at LMCU Ballpark!
What to expect: We will have six industry professionals to teach personal finance content followed by expert teachers to demonstrate pedagogical best practices to help you become a master Personal Finance educator. A continental breakfast and coffee will be served for breakfast each day along with a scrumptious catered lunch!
All attendees must complete the FIT Certification test to receive the $200 stipend.
Limited travel subsidies of $100 are available to Michigan teachers who live 80 miles or more from the Kent ISD. Apply upon registration.
